    Description:

    Fortigate issued an update which caused connectivity issues to most external services.

    Summary:

    • At 9:24am ET, Fortigate issued an update to our firewalls

    • The update caused connectivity from our firewalls to their web filter server to be severed

    • At 9:30 ET, IT was made aware of connectivity issues

    • At 10:24 ET, Fortigate resolved the issue

    • At 11:30 ET, IT received confirmation from Fortigate that this was a known issue

    • Incident resolved at 10:24

    Expected Service Impact:

    Intermittent and(or) loss of:

    • Internet Connectivity to External Resources
